The Black Repertory Group started as a Drama Program at Downs Memorial Untitled Methodist Church in 1954. Founder and Director, Nora Vaughn volunteered to stage and produce Christmas and Easter pageants. Over a period of four years, the range of plays expanded beyond the realm of religious material and encompassed the secular Black writers.

We are looking for women and men of any ethnicity between 20 and 50 years old actors who can sing light opera to perform in avant - garde musical about techno political mind control at the Black Repertory Group Inc theatre in Berkeley, California September 7, 8, 9, 14, 15, 2007.
