Community Rentals

Standard Theatrical Performance

$ 1500 - 4 Hour Block (Minimum)

Insurance - Standard Event Insurance

Rates vary by style and size of event. Insurance is required for all building rentals.  All fees are in addition to the BRG Contract.

​​APPLICATION PROCESS


  1. Check the Event Calendar to see if your date of choice is available. 
  2. Fill in the contact form with your details and  we will schedule an appointment for a tour of the building and contract signing.
  3. 50% of rental fees are due at contract signing.  YOUR EVENT DATE AND TIME ARE NOT RESERVED WITHOUT PAYMENT OF DEPOSIT.  Please do not advertise your event prior to contract appointment.
  4. Special Event Insurance and Security Agreement must be filed with the office prior to the start of your event.  
  5. Balance is due 14 calendar days before your event. 
  6. Cancellation and Refund policy:  If your event is cancelled two weeks prior to your event you will receive a full refund.  For all cancellations within 14 calendar days of your event, you will forfeit your deposit of 50% of your rental. 
  7. All events must be approved by the Executive Directors.

The Black Repertory Group Cultural Arts Center houses:

  • the Birel L. Vaughn Theater which seats 250 people
  • Professional Stage with Double Wings
  • Technical Control Booth - Lighting & Sound
  • Spacious Lobby with plenty of seating and a Concessions Area
  • Outdoor Patio Lawn Area with Garden Stage for intimate presentations
  • Multi-Purpose Room (Green Room / Meeting Room) - Maximum capacity is 50 people
  • Two Dressing Rooms with private bath
  • Dance Studio - Mirrored & Hardwood Flooring - Maximum capacity is 30 people
  • 2 Public Restrooms with ADA access
  • Maximum capacity of all areas vary based upon set-up and size of your event
